Ringtail harrier

A ringtail harrier over the escarpment behind Littledene (between Firle and Beddingham) at 10.15 this morning.

It was briefly in close proximity to a Buzzard, and looked pretty light-bodied. Unfortunately it quickly disappeared over the top.

Montagu’s? Grrr.

Also Little Owl sunning itself along Firle Bostal road, Sand Martin through, 200 Herring Gulls and a few LBBs a stubble field and six Mistle Thrushes bathing in last night’s rainfall along Chalky Road.
