Hobby, Wall, Hare

Wall-to-wall sun for the last three days, and a few good things out in it.

Spotted Flycatcher still around the top end of the village – mainly around the Churchyard.
a couple of Swifts over the garden on Saturday – my first locals for the year
a Hobby very low and very fast through the garden late Sunday afternoon – another first for the year
Cuckoo heard again at Littledene on Saturday

an unseasonal couple of Grey Wagtails briefly on the roof this evening

Although I generally don’t notice anything non-avian, it was hard to miss a bevy of Wall butterflies on the very top of Firle Beacon yesterday morning, and a Hare lolloping around the escarpment this evening was good.
