First Chiffchaffs

The first Chiffchaffs singing this morning – two or three of them, in the vicinity of the nature reserve and Park entrance.

This evening on the escarpment, my first Yellowhammer and Meadow Pipit song of the year, alongside the chuntering of Red-legged Partridges – I refuse to call that song.

And some belated news of a Red Kite, seen again near the school, last Wednesday.
