White-fronts on Glynde Levels

It’s calmed down a bit since the departure of the shrike, but there are still good birds around: such as the six White-fronted Geese seen at Glynde Levels today (Alan Kitson, per SOS website).

These are presumably the same five that were seen at the end of December on the levels, and later at Arlington Resrvoir, plus a new arrival.

In times past, Glynde Levels hosted a regular wintering group of White-fronts – these are a welcome echo.
