Iceland Gull at Arlington/Seaford

Again, the gull roost at Arlington Reservoir has turned up a good bird – a 1st-winter Iceland Gull yesterday, presumably the bird seen at Splash Point, Seaford in recent days.

Wildfowl seem to be on the move now too – after the rarer geese in the Ouse Valley a few days ago, Michael Hawkins noted 15 Shoveler and 20 Wigeon on Lewes Brooks on Friday.  The Cattle Egret remains at Piddinghoe. [all per SOS website]
