Tilton and back

A walk early on Saturday morning from the village to Tilton and back produced Bramblings again, this time on the Firle escarpment just to the east of the Plantation.
At least one bird was heard on two occasions, amongst the small groups of Chaffinches leaving the woods – perhaps leaving the roost for their regular feeding [...]
Bramblings at Bo Peep

A report today on the Sussex Birds Yahoo Group of at least eight Bramblings in a large mixed flock of Chaffinches, Greenfinches, Goldfinches and Yellowhammers near Bo Peep today.
The flock is apparently present in ‘game cover and adjacent bushes’ about half a mile SW of Bo Peep car park, along the footpath to Denton.
