A report today on the Sussex Birds Yahoo Group of at least eight Bramblings in a large mixed flock of Chaffinches, Greenfinches, Goldfinches and Yellowhammers near Bo Peep today.
The flock is apparently present in ‘game cover and adjacent bushes’ about half a mile SW of Bo Peep car park, along the footpath to Denton.
Flocks like these are few and far between on our stretch of Downland, so this lot sounds well worth a visit.
