Two Snow Buntings reported today between Bopeep and Firle Beacon a few hundred metres east of the Bopeep car park (per SOS website – learn to read, Charlie.)
Incredibly, this is virtually the same spot that several birds were seen two winters ago. Snow Buntings are very scarce in Sussex, and particularly rare inland. Apparently these two were present for at least five hours today, so there’s a good chance they may still be around.
Here’s a great shot of one of the previous long-staying Snow Buntings.

Sorry, that should be ‘at least three hours’. Note to self – must learn to read 24-hour clock.
Both still present early this morning – they seem to be fond of the flinty trackway itself, so not hard to locate. Head east from Bopeep car park. Yesterday, two ringtail Hen Harriers were reported too.
